	During clinker manufacturing in kilns and later, during its milling process to obtain cement, particles of chromium VI are produced, later on causing skin allergies to sensitive users who may manipulate cement by hand. The addition of ferrous sulphate (FeSO₄) to cement, avoids any possibility of allergic reaction.
